  • The concert in Monroe on Thursday begins at 7:00 pm and will end promptly at 8:30.
  • Tom, speaking in his best fatherly tones, reminded the band that if you are going to miss a rehearsal or performance that your folder is to go to the librarians so that the person who comes in to substitute for you has something to play. It is embarrassing to make arrangements for a sub and then have nothing for them to play.
  • We are moving forward with plans for the performances in Muskegon and Grand Rapids on 22 & 23 November. The concert in Muskegon has been tentatively set for 7:00 pm and the times and places in Grand Rapids are still being worked out. To aid in our planning, the Artistic Committee has asked that members check their calendars and e-mail their commitments by 25 August. Please let us know whether you will or will not be at these performances. No response will not work this time.

It is the mission of Motor City Brass Band to provide the highest possible level of musical experience for its members and audiences, to bring the brass band experience to an increasingly wide audience and to provide an opportunity for the members to reach their maximum musical potential.

MCBB Rehearsal and Performance Sign Out Form

The membership of MCBB is committed to making a serious attempt to be at every rehearsal and performance. However, there are times when an absence is unavoidable. In order to facilitate program and rehearsal planning, as well as the securing of a sub, members need to let Craig and Tom know of the absence in a timely manner.

Please use this link to let Craig and Tom know of your absence. Be sure to:

  1. Include your name.
  2. The date(s) you will be missing.
  3. The reason for your absence.

If you need to miss a performance or rehearsal please email Craig and Tom at least FOUR WEEKS prior to the date you will miss. If you have any questions please contact either Craig or Tom as soon as possible.
