WHAT IS NABBA AND WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
NABBA is a competition for Brass Bands from the United States and Canada. Judges behind a screen form an objective opinion and place bands in order. The first three places receive a banner! There are also many soloists and small ensembles that perform on the Friday of the event. You will hear the best brass and percussion performances in the country. There are also instrument exhibits – take your mouthpiece and try a new instrument. This performance will motivate MCABB to achieve higher levels of playing and inspire our members to strive for excellence.
Approximate Itinerary
| Thursday, April 20 | Meet at Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) Take a bus to Huntsville, AL |
| Friday, April 21 | Solo and Ensemble performances - participate and/or be an audience member |
| Saturday, April 22 | Band performances - including MCABB |
| Sunday, April 23 | Check out and depart for home |
