Motor City Brass Band Corporate Support Opportunities

We invite you to partner with the Motor City Brass Band as a supporter for our upcoming season.

In addition to supporting a truly unique and entertaining program of shows, Motor City Brass Band sponsorship provides a variety of benefits including visibility and access across print, web, and live audiences.

Choose one of the opportunities below, or work with us to design a unique support program to fit your needs. Options range from concerts in the park, homecoming, in-school clinic/concerts, senior programs, church and community center events, beginner student instruction, youth band, brass days music camps and instruments.

Upcoming events requiring support:

  • MCBB 2017-2018 Concert Series
    • Horns & Howls (October 29, 2017)
    • Sounds of the Season (December 10, 2017)
    • Motor City Festival of Bands 9 (April 22, 2018)
    • It's A Mystery (June 3, 2018)


Concert Co-Support: $500 each (up to five Supporters)

You will be recognized:

  • On our website with a link to your company website
  • On 1,000 postcard mailing
  • In all press and marketing materials
  • With signage prominently displayed at each sponsored concert
  • In programs distributed at the sponsored concert 
  • In all MCBB contributor lists

You will also receive ten complimentary tickets to the sponsored concert

Exclusive Concert Support: $2,500

Exclusive concert sponsorship includes all the benefits of co-support plus the following:

  • Forty additional complimentary tickets to the supported concert
  • An exclusive pre or post-concert event for your guests featuring musicians and refreshments


Underwrite a Guest Artist: $1,000

Guest Artist support includes all the benefits of concert co-support plus the following:

  • Ten additional complimentary tickets to the supported concert
  • An exclusive pre or post-concert event for your guests featuring guest artist and refreshments


Support a Musician: $200 - $3,000

Benefits commensurate to support level:

  • MCBB Musician: $200
  • MCBB Section Leader: $300
  • MCYBB Student Scholarship: $250
  • Beginner Youth Music Instructor: $2,000
  • MCBB Music Director: $2.500

Show your support by selecting your favorite section leader, band member, or Craig Strain and make a gift to sponsor him/her for the entire season!


Sponsorship levels are as follows:

  • Band member support: $200
  • Section leader support: $300
  • Music Director Support: $2,500 (May be shared among multiple individuals)


How the Musician Support Program works:

  • All band members are available for support.
  • Support is recognized for the remainder of the 2017-2018 subscription season.


MCBB Musician Supporter Benefits

All donors to the MCBB Support Program receive the following benefits:

  • Acknowledgement on the supporter list inserted in the 2017-18 program;
  • Recognition signage displayed at the April 22 and June 3 performances;
  • Complimentary tickets to MCBB’s performance on June 3;
  • An invitation to an exclusive donor reception; and
  • Special reserved seating options by request at all subscription concerts.

Partial gifts will be directed to the brand new General Musician Sponsorship Fund. Money in the GMSF will be allocated to unsponsored musicians when the campaign closes prior to the June 5 concert. Musician Sponsor Benefits apply to all full sponsors ($200/$300 respectively).

Section Leader Support - $300

Select one of these talented musicians to support for the entire season! Sponsors receive four total complimentary tickets to MCBB’s performance on June 3, 2018 and an opportunity to meet their supported musician at the donor reception.

Music Director Support

Support Music Director & Conductor , for $2,000*

Support MCBB’s front man in part or in full and become a donor to “Craig Strain Support Campaign”! Donors of $150+ (for individuals) or $200+ (for couples) receive four complimentary tickets to MCBB’s performance on June 3 and an invitation to a supporter reception.

*Support of Craig Strain may be split among several individuals.

Community arts organizations such as ours cannot thrive without a strong network of volunteers. From our talented musicians to our event and marketing support, Motor City Brass Band's engine runs almost exclusively on volunteers. If you enjoy the band, consider volunteering! We can always use a helping hand or a little muscle power.
